Monitor connection?

I want to connect my monitor, the power connection is a DC-In connection, my DC-In connection, which I use for my laptop, does not fit in.

I suspect that the connection is broken, I would be happy if you give us your opinion (see picture). If the connection is really broken… Can you buy a new socket and repair it yourself?

I would not recommend it to you, the corresponding power supply unit is still missing.

What century does this part come from? For that you need an external power supply.

A professional would remove the cover and either swap the DC input or remove the remains from the existing one. So that should be repairable.

There are plenty of power supplies at Amazon and Co.
