Laptop battery defective, can I charge a new laptop?

I have read on the internet that if the device is defective (as far as the warranty is still sufficient), it can either demand that the device be repaired or exchanged.

Is that true and could I claim that in the case as well?

I'm a little bit dissatisfied with the device, because of the defective battery, some apps are displayed blurry (probably the driver is not up-to-date, but can't find a current one), now also a small pixel error on the screen.

In itself I would not care, but the laptop is just a few months old, is very well guarded and has cost relatively much (700 euro). So, can I request an exchange?

It will be repaired first. You may ask for that later. I think, if it did not work three times.

Va

First of all, it tries to repair the device three times. Only then can an exchange be considered.

A broken battery falls as much as I do not know under warranty.

Si

Can't say blanket.

Va

What can't be said overall?

Rh

How exactly does it show that the battery is defective?
The blurry is most likely s.Winds often times has problems with the scaling.
To fix the program, disable the scaling for high DPI or generally set the scaling to 100% in the display settings.
This has nothing to do with the PC itself.

It depends on the pixel errors. Depending on the error class you have to accept a few mistakes. But many manufacturers make something out of goodwill before.

The laptop just goes like this. At the beginning, that was always around 36% and meanwhile, he also goes from 60% off. However, he does not drive down but the screen just turns black and the device is off, 0% battery charge

The consumer has in principle a right to vote, but the seller can proceed at a disproportionate cost of a rectification equal to the subsequent delivery. Also you can't go out basically of three repairs, articles to:

With the battery that is always regulated differently but generally has about Saturn and Co. 6 months warranty on the battery. On the device itself 1 year warranty. I asked there.

Si

Electric items have a statutory warranty of two years.

Rh

Well that speaks a lot for a defect.
