Notebook password is not accepted?

I've been using my notebook for over a year now and I know my password so I can 100% rule out entering it incorrectly, but when I shut it down and tried to log in after booting it started saying that I always enter my password incorrectly.
I've already reset it two times and it didn't work and now I don't know how to log in.
I've read on the internet that you can do something about it in Safe Mode, but I haven't really found a solution.
I'm really at a loss right now and don't know how to get my data and I would really appreciate any help.

Sounds silly, but sometimes the simplest solution is the right one.
caps lock activated?
tried another keyboard?

Br

Yes, really, I tried it on the connected keyboard and on my own notebook keyboard and I also paid attention to the caps lock key, so I can rule that out 100 percent

Hmm very strange

What else I could throw in the room:

After one of these Windows 10 updates, a copy of my account suddenly appeared. Windows always wanted to log on to this copy. Which of course wasn't possible without an existing account.

So I had to specifically select my user account, where my password and access generally worked.

In the end it was a bug from the Windows 10 update. You may be signing up for a "bogus account".

Br

Thanks, I'll have a look

Can such a problem also arise if you only have one account? I don't have any other user to choose from. But if it was an error after an update, what would be the point if I go into safe mode and uninstall an update version from there? I saw the possibility earlier, but because I don't know my way around very well, I'm more afraid of breaking it than repairing it.

ma

No, after the update there were 2 accounts for me. Although only one set up at the time.

Br

Okay, at least I still don't have two accounts. I'm considering resetting my notebook for the next few days if I really have no other choice

ma

Also a possible possibility with data loss, it should be to the former factory state, where the system is set to zero 1x.
