I'm just setting up a new notebook.
The operating system is Windows 10 Professional. When setting up, I should create a PIN, because such a "better" than a password.
There was no way to create a password instead.
Now I want to be able to start the notebook without entering a PIN. So that I have the user interface in front of me immediately after switching on.
With my old notebook, which was protected with a password, I could easily disable the password input. In the new now, with the PIN, but that does not work. I already tried different things. For example:

I've already tried to remove the whole PIN, but then I had to enter the password for the Microsoft account and after the first reboot, I was again forced to create a PIN, otherwise this "Hello" would not work. Without PIN it did not go any further or back…
What must or can I do now that I can finally start the notebook completely without PIN or password login?
So when I was installing, when asked who used the computer (user account) clicked "offline account", so not on the Internet at Microsoft, and have just pressed ENTER in the password window window (no entry made).
Now WINDOWS 10 is up, and I just click on log in (without a password) and the desktop pops up.
You have to sign up with an offline account, this is the classic way without a Microsoft account, then the instructions in your link will work.

If you want to use the functions that are only available through a Microsoft account, then you have to log in via a pin - by the way, I think it's very simple and not complicated.
If you're in the desktop then go to Settings then Accounts then Login option. Then there's the tab Pin you remove and further down is the tab Password and there you go on it and add a knowledge word.
Yes, that's how I did it
Thank you! I had already done something similar, but then nothing had changed.
I have now reversed all steps and have tried again. It finally went. The PIN I could remove and as a password, I just had to enter the Microsoft account.
So I could then run a restart and then the login with the password can finally disable.
Now I can start the PC without having to type anything or press Enter. I'm immediately landing on the Windows desktop page.
