I have short-circuited my microcontroller and some think that you can get it running again by resetting? If anyone knows if you can get it to work somehow then I would be very happy about help!
How I shorted it: I connected 2Pins on the board while the board was connected to the laptop and since then the green led has not lighted and it is no longer recognized on the laptop. I thought I broke it, but apparently you can reset it somehow.
I have no idea where you got such nonsense from.
The short circuit can only do more damage than do anything positive.
When a computer is idle, the software is in an endless loop or waiting for hardware or input.
If the processor is really at a standstill, the clock generator or the processor is defective.
A processor has a reset line. This is activated when the computer is switched on.
