My microphone suddenly stops working?

So since i updated everything the last time and so my microphone hardly works, neither with the headset nor via the normal laptop microphone, you can only hear me very quietly (via headset hardly at all) before everything went perfectly and me do not know what it could be, I already googled but nothing worked. Can someone help me?

Did you have a "voice effect" installed to disguise your voice? That usually causes problems after uninstalling.

Yes but that was a year ago and uninstalled it immediately because it didn't work so well, so don't think about it.

Try deactivating the microphone and then reactivating it

Settings → System → Sound → At the bottom when entering you will see the microphone → Manage audio devices → Select microphone → Deactivate

Then activate it again

If this does not work, go to → Troubleshoot under Input and follow these steps there
