I have a laptop with an i5 7300HQ, GTX 1050Ti and 8GB RAM. If I drive around quickly it does not load the textures of the environment properly and it jerks. After about 1-2h play, but the textures load faster but it still jerky. Does anyone know what I should do or upgrade RAM what brings?

Is the game installed on a HDD or SSD?

Is the laptop getting very warm while playing? That could slow down the performance.

Do

Runs on HDD and the laptop is new. The heat would probably not lie.

If there are similar opportunities in GTA V for creating a safe game in certain buildings, as was the case with GTA VC, temporarily save the game, finish the game after the save, and run Windows and down. Then reboot the PC and start the game with your last savegame.

Then it would have to run as usual for a good while.

You can run the task manager in the background and look at performance / resources (or whatever that means) which component is limited, CPU, RAM, network or hard drive.

Did you already set the mode to power in the energy options?

Do

I mainly play GTA Online and it saves everything automatically and I have restarted the game several times. Unfortunately, I never succeeded. I also have rendering problems with other games such as Ring of Elysium. Since the textures are not loaded at the beginning but after a few seconds, everything is back to normal.

Are the video card drivers up to date?

Do

When I'm in the Task Manager while the game is running, I can see 100% CPU usage every now and then and only 1GB Ram left for Windows because GTA ram is hungry. Drivers are up to date.

From a good and modern SSD, the textures could be reloaded many times faster than from a 1.8 "or 2.5" HDD.

I have installed a 128GB M.2 SSD and 500GB HDD 5400RPM. I think I should exchange the HDD with an SSD.
