After many years with iMac I finally have a Windows laptop. Unfortunately, I do not know much, would I like to take a look at some general settings with someone who knows?
Anyone can also help me directly through Teamviewer and explain a few things. ID is 420 906 093 and c4vj27 the P
This is an IP address and not the ID
Should you not publicly post passwords!
Which attitudes do you mean concretely?
You posted your local IP address here instead of the TeamViewer ID
Never post public passwords publicly.
Why would someone have to look over it?
What do you want to do specifically?
With Windows it is sufficient to start TeamViewer without installation, so that you do not need administrator rights for this portable version. To control the remote computer, its owner must tell the helper remotely about the ID and password that TeamViewer displays immediately after launch under "Allow Remote Control."
The ID enters the helper in the field "Partner ID" and after confirming the password in the open pop-up window. Then the desktop of the remote computer opens in a window and can be operated via remote screen sharing.
However, it does not do any good to remember the password in the long run, because with each session TeamViewer creates a new one, which the help seeker must communicate in order to allow access to his computer.
One thing I would like to note:
This can't be an IP, since one octet can have a maximum value of 255
Oh, the question has been answered, there was an IP…
