I bought a new laptop. This should have installed an SSD (512 GB) and an HDD (1 TB).
But when I look at the drives under 'This PC' in Explorer I have a drive 'Boot (C.' With 444 GB of storage space and a drive 'Recover (D.' With only 30 GB.
These are described under 'Settings' → 'Storage' → 'Optimize Drives' as solid-state drives, i.e. SSDs.
But where can I find the HDD hard drive on my laptop? Shouldn't this be listed with the drives?
Could it be that the HDD was simply not installed and I have to complain? Have already checked whether I have read something wrong with the HDD, but according to the seller, the laptop installed one.
First look under DATA MEDIA MANAGEMENT, possibly it is not formatted and therefore not visible. Otherwise, unscrew it to make sure.
Thank you,
but I have already looked into the disk management, there's no additional HDD displayed to me.
I will probably not unscrew it because I only got the laptop yesterday. A call to the seller will probably be necessary
