How can I access my data on this hard drive to copy certain files to another external hard drive?

My laptop does not want to boot up anymore.

It always stays after the manufacturer's logo screen (Acer), short charging circuit and the indication that my laptop will perform an automatic repair (it does more often, so I did not think so), but stand at black but lit screen and does not continue in the startup process. The laptop continues to run happily and quietly, but nothing more.

Even after I turned it off a few times (long press on the power button), he did nothing else than described.

My cousin (IT-ler) could even get past on day X, but he did not change anything either. But he told me that the motherboard and graphics card are ok. Into the bios (I think) he came only with a different key combination - off with pressed shift key (I think) & switching on with pressed F2 key (I believe).

The only thing he could advise me that day was that I should pull "Windows 10 recovery" on a stick and then boot the laptop.

But I do not have that yet, because I first wanted to tackle the most important thing for me:

Copy my data from the hard drive in the laptop to my external hard drive.

This meant my cousin, should I, or My father, remove the hard drive from the laptop and connect via cable and adapter to the laptop of my father.

We did that today, but here's the problem:

The hard drive was displayed, but you could not access it. There were only reports that there was an incorrect parameter that you have to format the hard drive to use them and that on the disk no recognized file system would be…

How can I access my data now?

I've just re-installed the hard drive in my laptop and tried to boot up again, but it worked the same way as described earlier, so logic should not be broken or broken (I hope).

I also hope someone can help me here.

Which adapter do you connect the hard drive of the defective laptop to your father's?

Sl

Well it is not really an adapter, it is the part with the connections of another hard drive we have stuck to the connections of my hard drive. Hope you understand what I mean. Can it be that it is not possible because of another hard drive?

My dad says it's a SATA port just docked to my hard drive ports. The cable that goes out of the 'adapter' is a dice ㅡ USB and on the other end just a normal USB… Hope you bring this explanation something.

I think I know what you mean. Is there only the Satakabel on the hard drive then? In this type of adapter you usually have a power cable for the hard drive. In Sata alone, the plate does not rotate.

Sl

Yes, we have clearly, as with any external hard drive, a power connection with another cable connection s.adapters had to run at all 😅

As I said, recognizes the laptop although the hard drive and displays this with a letter (normal), but if I then (as always) click on this hard drive (to call my folders, etc.), it tells me that a parameter error exists. Thus I can't access my data in the individual folders, as usual, to copy / move them to my other external hard drive.

as I said, I also mean that the hard disk should not be damaged. The only thing I can imagine is that my hard drive and my father's laptop are not on the same 'update-stand' because I have not updated my laptop for a long time (hence the hard drive) and it could be lie, which is the same hard disk (because same laptop model and thus also the same disk model) now not correctly accepted because of the different update status. Do you understand what I mean? Can this be?
