Why can't I connect my laptop to the Smart Tv?

Unfortunately my last question on this topic has not solved it.

How can I connect my laptop with Windows 10 to my LG Smart Tv without a cable?

According to Youtube Tutorial, I connect to connect Windows on the bottom right.

I have tried this method several times, it is just there "Connected" (no picture) before it breaks off again.

does anyone have any tips or can say what the problem is? Do everything exactly as in the instructions

Youtube with chrome, there's such a WLAN symbol, your TV should of course be in the same network.

Then you can connect to your TV, which then usually calls the Youtube tool.

Or eg. Right mouse button on a picture or music stucco or video and "playback on…"

Do both devices support Miracast? This is to my knowledge the only standard which supports Windows.

Miracast does not tell me anything, I'll google it. In said tutorial video, however, it went smoothly and without further software, etc.

I'm not sure if that's the solution, as far as I do not misunderstand you. Would not only play individual files such as videos on the TV, but the Windows screen completely reflect or project

Chrome also offers desktop stream. With me that does not work and I'm not sure synonymous with which software the funktionierne should. https://praxistipps.chip.de/...gehts_9785

Miracast is not a program, but a screencast standard. Just like Apple's AirPlay.

Whether your television supports this, you should be able to find out relatively quickly about the instructions or the Internet.

As for the laptop, press the Windows key + R and enter "dxdiag" without quotation marks in the "Run" window. It should then open the DirectX diagnostic program.

There you click on "Save all information…" and save the file somewhere where you can find it. Then you look in and then there should be somewhere under "System Information":

Miracast: Available, with HDCP

If both devices support Miracast, it should work too. It may have to be activated on the TV beforehand.

Here's the above mentioned video, so I want to do it

Does not work with mine. My LG is too old. The makes no live TV and has no sceenshare, only miracast and Wi-Fi direct, with me only with the händy. With the laptop I have not tried it if one of them can.

Thank you, I have followed your advice and experience my Windows laptop support Miracast (Miracast: Available, with HDCP)

Will find out if my LG TV Miracast supported. Should be the case, however, because the device was bought only half a year ago
Here is the link to the video above, so I had to connect the two devices

In one of the other comments BooWseR writes that it should work if both devices have Miracast. Maybe that helps you. With the phone, I can easily make screenshare with the TV…

My TV is called LG 65 UK 6470 PLC.AEU

According to the LG website, the model should also support Miracast, at least if it is: https://www.lg.com/...g-65UK6470

There's below:

"Screen Share Functions (Screen Mirroring)

Miracast

Otherwise look for a tutorial for Miracast. In addition, I mean that in the menu of the TV Miracast must first be activated. Everything was never very reliable for me, so I never used it seriously. At work, we also use separate hardware for conferences. But still, good luck. Should work.
