Hi. Today I installed a new SSD in my laptop because the old HDD has given up the ghost. I installed the operating system using a USB stick. But since I got the new hard drive, windows crashes at irregular intervals. The code SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION is shown in the Bsod as a standstill. This also always happens when I go to Performance in the Task Manager. Is there a solution? Can I rule out a hardware problem? Was there an error while installing Windows? I would appreciate an answer!
If you want try to install a new windows again
Windows 10 new
Chip driver from the motherboard manufacturer
Other drivers.
What I have in the Device Manager are 2 unknown devices that do not have a driver installed (Code 28) Can that be the trigger? Or how can I find out what devices or components are that I can then search for and install the driver?
Just go to your manufacturer's page and download the drivers there. Windows doesn't bring all of them with it, and when it does, it only does what is really necessary.
Hi, have you already carried out all of the standard tips: https://www.bestetipps.de/computer/windows-tipps/windows-10-reagiert-nicht-mehr-system-ist-stehengeblieben/
In the end it was the GPU driver.
