I have an annoying problem with my laptop and I'm currently working on a housework and therefore sit for a few hours a day on the laptop, which, however, beeps continuously during operation until I shut it down again. So consistently very quietly (as if you had tinnitus). That's why I only have a beeping sound in my ear after work, which is annoying. Does anyone know what might be the cause?
Remote diagnosis is very difficult, especially when it comes to technology. A personal recommendation would be to contact the manufacturer. Or to inform the dealer where you bought the device, if the device is younger than 2 years you are entitled to a free repair, if you have not added the damage yourself.
Thanks for your answer! The device is indeed a bit older. Can it simply be because of that? I'll go out the beeping is nothing dangerous.
I would recommend that you go to your dealer, they will recommend a repair. Whether it is necessary or not, this way you can be sure whether there's a risk or not.
But I think everything should be fine.
Can you find out where the sound is coming from?
Does it stop when you work without the power supply - only with the battery?
With or without a power supply makes no difference. The beep comes somehow from everywhere🙂
What kind of notebook is it? Please exact type designation…
You may find the source of the noise if you use a pipe, for example. B. Listening to a paper towel - like the doctor's lungs ;-)
If the device is halfway easy to open, you could do that on the open device…
