Can I undo myopia due to media?

So, I heard that you can be short-sighted if you have too much on hand, a laptop, etc. I was actually on hand a lot and then got glasses

First, is it true that this makes you short-sighted?

Second, can you reverse that by restricting media consumption? Or is it already too late after about four years?

Yes, that's right, I'm only sitting on the PC and my eyes have deteriorated from normal eyesight to almost blind within 10 years. I don't think you can reverse that except by laser surgery.
