Laptop mouse does not respond?

For about an hour my mouse on the laptop can't move, sometimes it is visible, sometimes it reacts at the beginning and then 'freezes' again. I shut down my laptop several times, but it still does not work. Maybe someone would have an idea how the mouse can be moved again? It's pretty annoying and everything else works fine.

So with the laptop, most of them have a button that deactivates the touchpad. This varies from laptop to laptop. My mother had this problem as well, because without knowing it, she pressed this button.

(It's usually more of a touch on the touchpad that you have to press 2 times with your finger.) Then it should work again. Otherwise you can maybe search again the manual.
