Dear community
I have a Samsung monitor with 1x HDMI, 1x VGA and 1x Displayport connection
I use it for the home office by connecting my notebook to it via the HDMI.
It would be my wish, however, that when I switch off my notebook or even unplug it, a slideshow (e.g. On a USB stick) is played on the screen (like a digital picture frame).
The monitor has no USB connection.
Can you solve it in any other way, does anyone know anything about it?
By connecting another PC to a second connection and running it as a picture frame. If necessary, a RasPi… If the monitor does not support this on its own, you just need another device that performs this function… The monitor can only do what works ex works… And that is a picture that comes through an input…
You could use a Raspberry pi zero w for this.
