Will it damage my laptop in the future?

So I just freaked out in a game and hit my table after my laptop was completely off and restarted. Now I'm afraid that my laptop has been damaged internally. Everything is still working fine, but I'm still afraid. Do you think that maybe I was just lucky and nothing broke inside?

Try it out… It is possible that parts of the hardware have been damaged by the shock… A little tip for freaking out: throw a bottle across the room.
