Is that a future? Survey?

Just before the story:

Between 13-15 years I was mentally at the end, skipped school, shy, not self-confident, etc. The reason for this is:

Wrong friends, wrong surroundings, bullying, a lot of stress and pressure at home and when my parents separated.
Now I'm 17 years old, mentally I'm fine again, I set myself goals, etc.

Now I was no longer in school for 1 year because I fell mentally into a hole, but what I can say (I've changed a lot!)

I learned from it that I don't have to take everything to heart, and that there will always be people who put stones in your way, but shouldn't ruin themselves psychologically from something like that.

My current goals (which I approach step by step!)

increase, maybe graduate? Come back into contact with young people more, become more self-confident, get out more and get really healthy again.

Now the following question: I have a colleague from the Internet (have known us for a few months) and he said to me 'let me go through with it' only I don't know if it has a future. He said he will have his own apartment soon, then I could come over for a week.

Go to the gym, do something, see what you think about the city, etc. Then I asked, 'what do you mean by pulling through?' He said we're doing yt videos, trying to get prize money in Fortnite because we're both really crazy, one earns 8000euro, we can do it the same way, we both have more knowledge and many skills. And that we both start together! We're both still young, you can graduate here with me or you won't run away in 1-2 years.

Now of course I asked him what is who we can't achieve with yt? He does 4 months on YouTube and now earns 400-600 euro every month, his dad pays for his apartment.

Now I ask myself 'does that have a future?' of course, i would like to do youtube, incidentally a business where i repair pcs, laptops, etc etc.

and studying etc is not a goal for me, it is important to me to do something that I enjoy

I'll make a negative / positive list

Negative:

Winning prize money with Fortnite is not easy
Youtube can run, but nothing is guaranteed!
will it have a future? What if you don't understand each other?

Positive:

Of course repairing with yt, pcs etc (commercial), part-time job, going to the gym on the side would be pretty cool in itself.
one would try to achieve something together
more would come out, to the gym etc.
and would be a bit away from my environment, and somewhere else. Where I don't really know anyone, and it's a little easier for me because I've also seen a lot of unpleasant things in the city here.

What is your opinion? Ps he is 18 years old.

Does that have a future? Would the way be smart and stupid?

Bi

That has no future. Don't become addicted to one guy. You fall on your nose. Your future is a school leaving certificate and vocational training and earning your own money.

ro

You can do that if you have a job. Then you can do it on the side until you can see whether it is profitable for you or not.
