White bar on notebook display?

My laptop fell to the floor from a height of 70cm a few minutes ago. Since then I have a white bar, see picture.

My question would be whether my display needs to be changed or only the connector has been partially unplugged.

The display doesn't seem to be completely broken because the stripe is white. First of all, look to see if something has really dissolved

Probably the display is down, that only the connector which has taken off is rather unlikely.

This is display damage, if the bar bothers you, you have to replace your display.

You can't say that for sure without opening the computer and checking the connections.

But I guess a display damage.
