I would like to switch to a Mac because I like the operating system more and I've heard that the performance should also be better. I'm currently using a Windows with a Ryzon 3 3200u and 8 gb ddr4 RAM and a 128gb SSD and a 500gb hdd that only serves as a storage space. The main task for my current laptop music productions in FL Studio will soon be editing video as well
I often have the problem with FL Studio that it often smears it is extremely annoying. So far I have not had any performance problems with the current hardware, but I think that with increasing plug-in density in FL, the RAM and CPU will soon reach their limits.
My question is now is it worth switching to a Mac Book I currently have a good offer for a Pro 2014er with 16gb DDR3 and i7 2.2 GHz with Turbo Boots 3.4 GHz and 256ssd for 550 euro I'll make a good deal and I will benefit from it because before all the old RAM so the DDR3 worries me a bit I would be happy about your point of view and suggestions, thank you
love Alex
Yes 👍
Although it is possible that finished computers from Apple in this price range deliver better hardware and thus performance, the performance of the operating system (currently macOS Mojave) is comparable to Windows 10.
