What is important when buying a laptop?

I would like to buy a new notebook for university soon. To be honest, I want to do everything right with this purchase, ie buy a good thing. For me, it is important that it has USB connections, an HDMI connection and that it runs / does not hang fast to spend euro.
I keep hearing that it is better if the notebook has an Intel processor. Is that correct? Can one generally say that Intel is better? If yes why?

What is important in a notebook anyway? Can you recommend certain manufacturers?

So I've actually had the best experiences with acer. HP really depends on the individual models. Asus has always disappointed me so far. Lenovo I have no experience there.

no intel is not automatically better than amd. It is only more widespread in the laptop area so that one has more experiences.

for me the processor has to be at least an i5. I3 is just too lame for me. I don't know what the AMD equivalent is. See if 4 cores are given.

SSD should also be. Then I also do without an HDD disk. A laptop is there to work anyway and, thanks to cloud systems, normal SSDs are sufficient for me so far.

The weight has to fit and the keyboard is very important. Not all keyboards are created equal.

Drive is nice to have but not a must. If everything fits, it shouldn't fail.

What should you look for in the keyboard, in your opinion?

Re

Brand HP

Intel i3 or i5 processor

RAM 8 gigabytes

Everything else is not important. Maybe an anti-glare display.

Such large companies often do not have such a good price-performance ratio… Take a look at YT. I'm not that good about laptops either.

Ok, thanks for the honesty!

The following applies: The larger the number after the "i", the more powerful the processor?

You just have to test it. How well you can write on it.

Understand!

There are many things that you need to be aware of. How big should my memory be, which connections does it need and what kind of processor should the laptop have? Numerous laptops are tested and compared on the Internet. You should do a little research there and find your own criteria.
