I'm currently looking for a new, good laptop and am a little overwhelmed by the offer. I would like to use the laptop mainly for gaming and coding, which is why a good (preferably GTX 20xx) graphics card is important, so that e.g. B. The Microsoft Flight Simulator is running well. CPU is also relatively important because of coding, probably i7-9 or 10k or something. Other things that are important and less important to me:
at least 16GB RAM
only 15 incher
Two hard disk spaces (maybe even a built-in 256 or 512 Gb SSD and at least 1TB HDD) I need a lot of storage space, preferably even a 2TB HDD, but it doesn't have to be built in, you can buy one (→ does someone have a good recommendation for one? Can you can install it later…)
The refresh rate and resolution (still FHD) of the screen are not so important, I use an external monitor
Important: Although it should be a gaming laptop, it shouldn't look too puffed up like one. The HP Omen is too "gaming-like", but the Lenovo Legion 7i is no longer. Should just look halfway normal
And for that I have a budget of 2000 euro, preferably not more. Is that asking too much for the price? Or is there simply no such laptop? What experiences do you have? Can you think of a laptop that more or less matches it?
ASUS easily exceeds your wishes
http://www.idealo.de/....idealo.de knows every good laptop. And if you throw out 2,000 EUR for something like that, you have to expect a massive loss of value, because you will ask again in two years at the latest, right?
For 2000 euro you get a very good tower pc. So the question now arises, why does it have to be such an expensive laptop?
For 2000 euro please buy a Dell then you have something very good
Do you have experience with an exact model?
Which model, for example? Do you have any experiences with a certain model?
Mainly because of the mobility - after all, I can't take a tower PC on vacation or on the sofa for a moment - that's particularly important to me.
There are different models, please have a look at dell
It can be. It's all changing so quickly, unfortunately. Thanks for the tip with Idealo! I found some nice laptops there - the filter options are gigantic!
If you wish, Dell will build you one as you want it to be
OK thanks!
Please be welcome
For years i have only bought asus for things like that. Asus is the best stuff and you will find out when you have it
Do you have a laptop from them too? Doesn't have to match the description, can you send me the model name or a link?
Gx501
Treat yourself to the gx701gx, or 15.6 inch gx531
There's not much choice when it comes to specific requirements, which in principle makes things easier. Make sure that you don't have a Max-Q design for the graphics card, they have significantly less power. I would rather use a Ryzen processor if it is a desktop CPU like the 3700x. It is superior to an Intel i7 10750.

Annoyingly, you can only pair the stronger 2070 Super with an i7-10750 (6-core) and not with a Ryzen (8-core), unfortunately that's the case from the manufacturers.
So here you have the i7+ RTX 2070 SUPER list

And here you list Ryzen 3700x + RTX 2070 NOT SUPER

Whether it should be a donor, Asus or Nexoc… Honestly, no idea. Have no experience with the devices and they all look fine on paper. Whether the screen is better or worse in practice - no idea.
And all in all, I would recommend a small tower and an all-rounder laptop. With the tower you get more power for 1400 euro and a laptop for 600 euro… You also have to ask yourself whether you would / could really gamble while traveling, on the couch or something like that. Just through the Internet etc.
In the end, you usually gamble stationary and then you would be better off with a small tower
Just thrown into the room as an idea:

The difference between 2070 and 2070 super is just as manageable as the difference between the I7 10750 and Ryzen 7 3700x processors
it doesn't take much.

So pay more attention to the keyboard, cooling, etc. Of the laptop and check out a few reviews!
Yes, of course, but I wouldn't gamble on vacation.
Then rather a fat PC at home and a laptop that is enough for Sims and minecraft for on the go
