Kinonachmittag for seniors, which technology is needed?

I work with seniors and would offer a movie afternoon with popcorn and old movies every two weeks.

Our budget is unfortunately limited, used technology would be completely ok.
Could someone please tell me what I have to look out for a laptop and what a projector / projector screen would be optimal for?

Would anyone have tips on where to borrow older films on the net?

I have explicitly tried to put the questions together for the layman

Maybe it will help you. You can find the individual questions in the comment section.

For older films you have to make something out. What exactly are you looking for? But note that officially you can't just play any movie for an audience.

So an afternoon with seniors with whom he works, I would consider not as a public performance, but as private, so that's fine.

After it is more about old films, a projector with lower resolution would be alright. The Optoma S331 for 250 euro would be there z.b. Conceivable. For the sound I would look on ebay or other used portals, for a compact system of Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, etc., because a Bluetooth speaker will not be able to play loud enough when the ladies and gentlemen whisper something.

And here is a list of streaming providers that may also offer movie classics for free https://www.moviepilot.de/...lX3TTym2EE

There have other experiences. But where no plaintiff there's no judge.

"When employees or the senior citizens' facility for residents host a movie night or afternoon in the common room, not all participants are usually close friends or relatives."

If that is the reason, then I should not invite 2 friends who do not know each other, but only me, or how? And if it came to a lawsuit, any employee in the home would say he was in a friendship with every resident.

No idea, I can only say that I personally personally have bad experiences on the subject. It is not necessarily helpful if one of the relatives of the residents plays the helper. I did not set the rules. To say it again, where no plaintiff there's no judge
