Hi. My laptop often has problems. The startup takes a long time. Gmx recommends System Mechanic to download. Who is familiar with that? Do you need that or are there free alternatives?
These whole "tuning tools" are actually superfluous and do just what they should actually fight: the littering of the PC.

Tuning tools harm the PC more than they help it. A good example is TuneUp Utilities 20XX. This has often caused problems with updates.
If the laptop is really slow at startup, you have essentially 3 options:
Dismount the autostart configuration. To do this, press the Windows key and R at the same time and then enter "taskmgr". Then switch to the tab "Startup" and disable some programs. Caution: Do not turn off entries starting with "Intel", "AMD", "Nvidia", "HP".
Check: Is a magnetic hard disk or SSD installed? You can just check it: Windows key + R → enter devmgmt.msc, then Enter. Then go to the menu item "hard disks" or "storage media". There are all the disks of your system. If your laptop is equipped with a magnetic hard disk, there's usually something like "ST14004A" or "WDC WDXXX-XXX-XXX". SSDs use different names, such as "Samsung 970 Evo Plus" or "SanDisk SSD Plus". Ideally, you can rebuild your old hard drive into an external enclosure and obstruct an SSD, then clone or reinstall Windows. SSDs are available for as little as 50 euro thanks to falling flash prices.
