The black fields are supposedly sensors…
We were informed in advance that the things will be installed and two craftsmen with laptops came into the entire house and added the things… From that point of view it was not suspicious, but if you google 'smoke alarms with cameras' or 'smoke alarms and espionage' a bit different.
If there was a legal way to turn things off without damaging property. I read somewhere that you can smear a greasy cream on the sensors if they are cameras. Theoretically, however, this could also fall under property damage.
The craftsmen came to me 2 months ago and installed exactly the same. Now I have to admit I have a queasy feeling when I look at things XD. Did you also get an instruction manual? Then you may be able to remove the batteries if you are otherwise troubled. Or just stick it over with a plaster or something similar. Because of the espionage thing I'll do some research now, but I think that the official craftsmen have also installed secure devices for you… But you never know.
Fire alarms are compulsory… Tampering is not permitted and punishable, and they are life insurance in the event of an emergency.
And I don't think a company would install "espionage detectors". You will probably only find something like that in privately rented apartments, if at all. If that comes out, the company could shut down…
There are detectors that also have ultrasonic sensors to monitor room parameters… Probably to see if they have been tampered with. So covered, or incorrectly installed (distances to objects and walls…) I read something about it… But a long time ago, why exactly…
Ultrasonic environment control / smoke entry monitoring
Three ultrasonic sensors control the area around the iSDRF. The area around the device must be kept clear so that smoke can enter unhindered. The iSDRF controls at least 50 cm of its surroundings (if necessary, take technical tolerances into account). Depending on the installation situation (e.g. Narrow hallway), the environment control may have been adjusted accordingly by the contact person responsible for the maintenance of your devices

It's not exactly this one, but there's the purpose of the ultrasonic sensors…

Here's something about the model shown… This sends status reports to a collection center about faults, manipulation, contamination, etc.
Actually these things consist of a small black chamber (in the middle) in which there's a kind of light barrier. The LED and the optical sensor are not aimed directly at each other, but both do not see each other. When smoke penetrates, the light from the LED is scattered on the smoke particles and the sensor now receives the light from the LED. If so, then it triggers.
The LED does not light up permanently, but only once every 10 seconds for a millisecond, which saves a lot of energy.
You can take the thing apart if screws hold the thing together. When the two housing shells have been clicked together, you have to carefully separate the two shells with a knife.

But you can also let it be. Why?
If you had installed a camera or microphone there, it would consume a lot of energy and people would have to change the battery regularly. So not every year or every 10 years, but rather every 4 days.
Unless a coil is installed there, then you could place a coil on the floor from the floor above you, which then supplies the coil in the motion detector with energy like a transformer. But you would be able to measure a very strong field there.
A small copper coil is sufficient to detect a field, to which two LEDs soldered in antiparallel are attached to the two wire ends.
If they shine, then there's a field. If the field to be detected is very strong, you should connect a resistor in series so that the LEDs are not broken by too much current.

The time is running out but I'm just noticing. Such a smoke detector must be installed in every room by the end of the year. Except the kitchen and bathroom. I think any other rooms are also excluded, there was an overview somewhere on the net.
I get even more paranoid
There are therapies against this: https://www.netdoktor.de/krankheiten/paranoide-persoenlichkeitsstoerung/
What nonsense, why do so many people get paranoia about smoke alarms… What do you want to see? And who should care?
Because surveillance takes place. Radio data was recorded with regard to Corona. So I don't think it's that far-fetched
Nonsense…
