I wanted to ask how a Skypeinterview runs in the application process?
I have never done anything like that and have a few questions. I have a stationary PC and therefore no built-in camera. I could borrow a laptop from a friend, but the built-in camera on the laptop is not really good. Should I buy a camera that I attach to the monitor or a built-in laptop?
Furthermore, laptops have built-in microphones… Should I use this or use an external headset?

Of course it would be desirable if the quality is good and of course a video signal would be desirable.
I would recommend lending the laptop to your girlfriend and making a test call before. So you can see if the quality is ok and if your Internet line for the desired quality at all enough.
With the Micro I would use in any case an external solution and not the Mic of the laptop, but also you can test just before times.
But buying something extra should not be necessary, as long as you only have some hardware available. Nobody expects studio quality.
Skype is also available for mobile phones and a job interview on Skype is only made because you want to save money and time.
