My notebook gets loud and hot while playing League of Legends online.
Normally I would say it is due to the hardware, which is too old or not suitable for games or the fan works more to cool the graphics card or the CPU. However, this only happens in League of Legends and not in any other game that requires a lot more computing power (e.g. Call of Duty Warzone)
Now my question is whether it could also be due to League of Legends or to any settings that the computer works so much during the game.
In this case, it is difficult to say that via remote diagnosis.
One suggestion would be to simply limit the FPS to 60/80/120 in the game
and also to screw down the graphics settings.
That should then relieve the CPU and graphics card, because they don't have to calculate more FPS than really necessary.
Activate VSync in the settings of the game
