Genshin Impact registration error. What to do?

I just downloaded Genshin Impact and was about to register when this page loaded:

Load error

Failed to load https://account.mihoya.com/?type=sdk#/register?&lang=de

ERROR_UNKNOWN

Page crashed

The renderer process for this page is no longer running

What should I do so that I can register, or does that not work because something generally has to do with my laptop / internet / my version?

These types of errors are very common recently. Try to set your DNS server manually to 8.8.8.8 as the primary and 8.8.4.4 as the secondary DNS, in the worst case it should then work.

That was also the case with me in the beginning. I gave up but the next day it worked. Try again later or tomorrow.
