If you want to play Genshin Impact on another device with the same progression. You just have to log into your account on the other device. It is of no use to you if you sign in with the same Apple ID, as you have to sign in either way.

You have an account. And with that you can also log on to other devices e.g. Log in to the laptop and you can simply continue playing as normal.
