Debt at health insurance, what to do?

Evening or night. Whenever this is read here.

About a year ago I lost my job and have been looking for work since then. I did not want to apply for unemployment benefits, for reasons that might not necessarily be rational. Still, I do not have it. It was not a problem for me, because I still live with my parents and otherwise have little fixed costs. So I need no income… Actually.

For more than half a year, however, I reached my 23rd year of life and thus a point at which I really do not know any further. If you do not know, at the age of 23 you fly out of the family insurance of the health insurance, if you are not studying or are in training - which is the case with me. Nevertheless, one is obliged to be insured in Germany… Does that mean you are 23 and have no income, you still have to pay an amount to the health insurance every month. "Voluntary insurance".

But I have, as I said, currently no work and thus no income. The health insurance had contacted me quite early and wanted to have information about my situation. After the first letter, I wrote my situation to those and conveyed that I do not currently have a penny a month. (Except maybe a few euro, which I get given.). This was followed by another form that I should fill out. I did not do it… Do not ask me why. The consequence of this is that since my 23rd birthday, I have been charged around 800 euro for the insurance, which amounts to more than 5000 euro to date. Money which, as I have repeatedly said, I can't or can't afford. Not without work.

"But then you're looking for work" - I'm in it, but it can't conjure with a finger tip, because I do not want to sit behind a supermarket checkout. This monotony robs me of every will to live…

A few days ago came the first letter from the bailiff, who announced that he was going to execute the sentence against me. (Unless I pay in the next two weeks - which I can't.) The letter was again a form attached to my financial position. I have not answered yet and I do not know what. In the meantime, I assume that in the next two weeks I will not be able to raise more than 5000 euro and (min!) I will visit the executor. Probably also seized.

But now my big fear is:

Since I live with my parents - may the executor also seize something with them? They have a lot of belongings, like two cars, two expensive laptops, clocks, etc. If that happens, then I can probably look for a bridge to sleep.

And what about my computer? My parents both have one, does that mean my own computer will disappear?

Does anyone have any advice? I thought, I'll give you a chance.

Forget the bailiff… Very fast!

You have pushed it to the extreme, by your refusal to give the health insurance you an income that requires the maximum amount instead of having to pay only the minimum contribution (mtl. Ca 170 ¬) Fact is, the fixing is now irreversible.

Who is soon at the door is unfortunately not the bailiff, but someone from customs and is satisfied with nothing else than the compensation of the claim. A bailiff, in contrast to the customs on cuddly course. By contrast, the customs officer has undergone a purely police training. He enforces the law (in your case the claim) by all means, so that you too will pay. The possibilities of installments or the like is over when customs are at the door.

That helps a surprisingly little.

Do not whine here! These are the facts! You have to attribute that to yourself.

Co

I did not deny that in any line! I already know well that it is my fault. I would just like to somehow "save" my situation and I do not know how… I did not ask this question to answer the question of guilt, but to seek advice. If you do not know any advice, please just leave it.
And besides saying "You have no problem - you have a serious problem" does not comment RudiRatlos67.

Bu

Pay your debts, you can't do more!

Ga

Unfortunately, I can't say anything other than what awaits you. This is helpful for you insofar as you know what to expect. Get the 5,000 euro, that's your only option. Frag social welfare office, friends Family Known colleagues Bank etc to somehow raise the 5,000 euro.

Ga

Only sensible alternative I could advise you yet: find yourself a job, possibly the supermarket, you are not in a position for you to be such a pity. Ask your new employer if he will give you the 5,000 euro, then you will have the best chance. Be honest, friendly and give to understand that the situation is unpleasant and show regret… Then work with the job and the advance.

Promptly report to the office so that at least the health insurance is paid and no further debts accumulate
seek out a debt counseling and seek competent advice, they know their stuff and can tell you what you can do
accept a job, no matter how boring he is. I have no understanding that you do not do anything for 1 year. By the way, potential employers are not. With every moment you do nothing you will endanger your chances for a good job.

Dy

May I ask why you have not applied for unemployment benefits when you have paid, then you have the right to do so and from the moment you are also ill-tested, if you are looking for a job anyway, then you can refer to ALG 1 for the transition. You are still entitled to it.

You can ask the health insurance company for an installment payment.

Contact the cashier again because of the basis of the calculation and go to announce you unemployed! You can then pay your KV contributions in installments.

Go to the social counseling!

What exactly does customs do with his police training?
