How can I make my Toshiba P300-26R laptop faster (hardware)?

I got the laptop for free. He had Vista on it before that I have now upgraded to Windows 10pro. Now he was slow before that, unfortunately he is now too. What hardware could I add to make it run smoother? (Increase RAM, graphics card, motherboard, replace hard drive)

Since you only want a laptop that runs smoothly, a bx should also be enough for you, they are usually a little cheaper. You should (if you have agreed on a memory size) but also e.g. Look for the corresponding model of the mx series because sometimes the prices are only slightly apart. Then the 3 or 4 euro are more worthwhile.
