Problems with PC screen via VGA?

I have a little problem with my laptop. The screen has been broken for years, so I connected it to my TV via HDMI.

I've bought a screen because working on it is more pleasant and the connected via the VGA port. The problem now is that VGA flickers the picture slightly.

Have already rummaged in the net, but not found much. What I still know is that it runs completely clean as soon as I unplug the HDMI cable, so I'll touch the shield.

Just do not know how I should solve the problem, because inferior is actually none of my cables.

The monitor only has VGA

Av

No, also HDMI

Su

Then try it over HDMI

Av

Everything is running, I know that.

I only have one HDMI port and I need it for the TV.

Sometimes it helps if you plug the power plug of your TV or laptop back in 180 degrees.

Look if you can raise the refresh rate (Hz) … Maybe the screen is only running at 30Hz instead of 60hz via VGA as with HDMI:-)

Av

Unfortunately, nothing worked.

Do you think a docking station helps me?

he

The disturbances are indeed on the HDMI cable and interfere with the analog VGA signal. So I do not see any advantage of a docking station. There are also HDMI-Kabeel with blocking filter (ferrite filter), but if they actually solve your problem, I do not know.

Av

Now meant to connect screen and TV via HDMI and leave VGA away.

he

The HDMI port for the monitor is certainly not as sensitive as the VGA port.

Av

Sorry, I did not understand now ^^

Av

Unfortunately, not or at least I have not found anything

Have ever thought ne docking station to buy and then plug in via HDMI.

he

I did not understand your demand, so my answer makes no sense.

So: A simultaneous connection of several devices connected to each other via the power supply always presents the danger that low-frequency equalizing currents flow over a monitor line and can influence the signals. The interference of analog signals (VGA) is likely to affect more clearly than that of digital signals (HDMI).

Av

So you think it does not hurt me if I connect via a docking station TV and monitor and leave the VGA port unused?

Li

Then connect it with HDMI (instead of the TV)

Av

Guys, I want to have TV and monitor s.Calculator ^^
