Yesterday we had a short power failure (which we were able to fix quickly) while my laptop continued to run on the battery, but after the power went back, the laptop still ran on the battery and meanwhile the battery is completely empty and there it is no longer connects to the current, it no longer works!
Have turned it on and off several times and even tried several sockets, but nothing worked… What now?
Do you have a way to measure the power supply whether it is still possible? In the worst case, this could have fallen victim to a current spike.
I suspect like you others that the power supply is defective. Get a new one, and be glad the power adapter probably protected your laptop from harm.
