I like to play GTA on a laptop. For a laptop mine is actually pretty good, I have an NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB and an Intel i7 8th generation.
I like to play GTA only with laggs it is very annoying. However, I noticed the following. It can't be because of the game because I've tried everything that can be changed and always compared exactly.
As long as I get under 100% battery, my game starts to lag. Do you know what you can do there?
I'm very desperate because I can no longer gamble properly.
So when the battery is below 100% does it start?
Have you considered that your laptop could have an energy saving mode that reduces the power to save battery if no charger is plugged in?

Always have the laptop connected to the charger, otherwise it will probably run in energy-saving mode and therefore offer less power. I used to gamble on my laptop and had the same problem. So always leave it on the power supply:-)
Maybe the energy saving mode will then simply activate. Check out the settings and switch it off if you want more power

Then, in my experience, it should definitely be due to an energy-saving mode that is activated as soon as the battery is no longer at 100%. I would simply check the system settings and see if there's something appropriate there.
