During my holiday in 2 weeks, I noticed that the booked 2 star hotel has no TV. Rebooking is not possible for financial reasons.
Most of the time, of course, I'm out on the beach or at the pool or partying or eating in the restaurant.
Without a TV something is missing the entertainment. On holiday I'm used to turn on the TV in the morning and in the evening and to watch / hear what's going on in the world or in the country.
I know that I can also watch channels with my smartphone or laptop. They are all encrypted and that also consumes a lot of memory…
The 2 star hotel also offers paid Wi-Fi. I do not want to pay that.
No Wi-Fi and no TV? That is bitter.
Roaming of the mobile phone will then use a free Netflix test month.
Go to a pub in the neighborhood to the television.
If there's no TV in the hotel and the internet is too expensive, I know no solution. In the past, you could just use an external antenna, but with the new reception standards, I do not think so.
Take a radio with you
I do not only want to hear but also to see.
That is bad luck… You just had to budget for the accommodation a few more thalers and especially the hotel description to read properly…
You take a world receiver with you - you get the latest news about it. Take books, puzzles
Oh, there seems to be something like this:
At a 2 star hotel you have to expect it!
If you do not want to pay, then you will have to endure it "without"?
