I have switched my laptop back on for a few years and wanted to be in my emails, however my "ICloud settings are out of date". I have repaired my account but somehow it does not work and I get the same message again.
Is anyone familiar with it?
You could try right-clicking to completely remove the account from the device and then add it again.
Right click on the account → Account settings → Delete account from this device.
It's the same with me too
Either the password has been changed or something else from your account
Or maybe you have added another Microsoft account on your PC and that is out of date, the best thing is to remove the old Microsoft accounts from your PC

Oh, just the @ icloud.com email address.
If you want to access the mails, it is best to log in to http://www.icloud.com/...icloud.com and forget "Windows Mail" - no one uses it.
