Which device would you use if you had the choice, as a laptop replacement or as a laptop. For other devices, please write your device in the comments and preferably why. I'm looking forward to the result. My favorite is the iPad Pro because there are so many different ways to use it. With your finger, mouse, keyboard, Apple pencil, … And also has a fast processor with which there's almost no waiting time.
MacBook Pro when I type a lot and I need software that runs on MacOS. IPad Pro when I type less, but want to swipe and write with the pen and iPad OS is enough for me.
Thank you, that's my opinion too. At the moment the Macbook also has one of the best price-performance ratios there's.
Phew Well But these things are also getting more and more expensive. I can't afford a new one right now.
But for this performance now thanks to its own processors, they have become around 500 euro cheaper compared to their predecessor with a similar performance. But Macbooks are never cheap, but they last a long time and the design is modern for a while.
I would like to have one, but if I would, I would also use the best equipped. It's going to be really expensive.
Without context, it makes no sense to answer seriously here and assess the% results.
when I commute on the train and want to work, I use something different than when I sit on the plane and want to read something there. I also don't take a Macbook Pro with me on a backpack tour through Africa, or want to do professional photo editing on an iPad Air after a wedding. Oh yes, and if a university or a customer wants any programming or needs access to certain databases or software, requires release management, etc., then MacOS does not always have to be the right choice.
So the storage capacity of a tablet (Apple ipad) is rather limited if you are someone with a lot of files the device quickly reaches its limits and if you are unlucky (like with me recently) the device deletes important documents and files independently and leaves the deleted ones not recover. I was very annoyed that all files and documents were deleted from the iPad by itself (and could not be restored). Therefore, I prefer to work with the laptop and only use the tablet for certain purposes.
Do you mean the normal iPad?
The iPad Pro has up to 1TB of storage space.
Ne the iPad (7th generation) 32GB
A tablet (iPad) is definitely not as powerful as a Mac / laptop but it quickly reaches its limits and the thing constantly overheats with long use, so I would not recommend anyone as a complete laptop replacement.
A cheap device with Android 10 from Amazon, it is called Ayogoyo. Cost almost nothing, 10 inches tall and does what it is supposed to.
Appel is not worth the money to me. Just so that there's a bitten apple on it, I'm not willing to pay double the actual value.
I would go for something that has a reasonable price-performance ratio.
As a laptop, I would always use a gaming laptop. You can also gamble with it (at least a little) on the go.
