Bios advanced menu?

I tried to deactivate the virtualization, which one needs for programs like Virtualbox, in the menu "Advanced" in my bios.

Unfortunately I did not find a point called "Advanced" in my InsydeH20 bios menu.

Can someone please tell me how to activate this menu item on my laptop "Acer Extensa 2508"?

Laptops often have significantly slimmed down BIOS menus, in which many things are simply not configurable.

What do you expect from switching off your processor's capabilities?

If I deactivate hardware virtualization, I prevent the "protection error" from appearing in the virtual machine.

You can also set it in VirtualBox not to use these extensions as far as I remember. Otherwise, another version of VirtualBox can also be worthwhile, because such errors sound like a bug to me.

I already looked after this extension under Change - System - Acceleration, but unfortunately I can only switch off nested paging there and change the para-virtualization.

I would like to deactivate VT-x / AMD-V

In VirtualBox, however, it definitely gives performance. It would be better to see if it works with another (possibly older) version.
