I'm the batu.
Since I like to play games like Modern Warfare Warzone, Rust, Csgo or Minecraft and my clan will soon be represented on Twitch, I wanted to ask if my gaming laptop is sufficient to stream.
I would like to earn a little bit with the gamble, if it works, of course, there will definitely be no lack of content.
My specifications are as follows:
Acer Predator Helios 300 17.3 "
I7 7700 HQ / GTX 1060 6GB (No MAX-Q) / 16GB HyperX 2200 mghz
then SSD and HDD.
I mostly want to stream Warzone, my only problem is:
My settings (FHD) are all really on the lowest that go, except the textures that are on medium settings. I always have almost 50-95 fps depending on the situation.
The load on the graphics card is often 95-99% and the CPU always settles between 45-70%. Is there any capacity left to stream the whole thing?
You can ignore my temperatures for the time being, they are relatively low in relation to the load, because I have a very good thermal paste and this is also well applied. I still have rough air at 15 ° C, only then it becomes critical because then the CPU clocks down and then I get a problem. Now do not know if the information will help you, but it may be good to know.
Unfortunately I do not currently have the financial resources to build a desktop, I can only tackle this at the end of the year.
I would really appreciate some information or maybe someone can help me who also has a laptop and streams with it.
Until then, I wish you all a nice day and a pleasant start to the next calendar week
It easily suffices if you forego the highest settings and play / stream on FullHD
Your hardware would do it. It depends on the game, the setting of the graphics, etc. Because I can also stream a few games with my laptop.
Hardware:
Geforce GTX 1050ti (Mobile)
Intel Core I5-7300HQ 2.50GHz
8 GB DDR4 Ram
1TB HDD
240GB SSD
Just try it out
Thank you for the quick answer.
that sounds great, of course, in the end I hope it will actually work, because Modern Warfare Warzone is really toasting my laptop in the truest sense of the word, despite the relatively good hardware.
may i ask what you stream?
The game I want to play, the settings are already as low as possible and the load is already very high. But thank you for your quick answer, I will definitely try the days.
You are definitely right, I'm with my parents right now and could not put my idea into practice, so I thought I would ask around. Will definitely give it a try, thanks for the quick reply and nice week!
Minecraft runs smoothly as well as Train Simulator and Bus Simulator but sometimes the two have a stutter for a short time. Gta 5 RP (FIveM) runs with many laags even without a stream, but you have to find out yourself how good your computer is. Because no computer is the same as the other
Actually, the load is "not important" because sometimes there's a game with little load
Okay, thank you for the info.
have fun playing
Yes, of course that's true. I have the problem with Rust, for example, the graphics card and CPu daddle with 50-60% and I don't get more than 70 fps on the screen, regardless of whether Ultra or Potato settings.
I just thought that if the graphics card is already at 99%, there's no capacity for anything else.
Look at the graphics memory and your RAM
The graphics memory is never used more than 4 of 6Gb, before I get into the Vram limit my CPU runs out. Ram utilization between 8-11gb, free are always between 3-5gb
