Gopro video not playable on the laptop?

I have a new gopro. (Hero 8) I've made a few videos while skiing. I can look at some of them. However, for some the picture just stops. The sound can still be heard. Can someone help me how I can get it away or how I can see the videos properly? I have an Acer spin 3 if that is important.
