I have a gopro hero 7 black (new) and a windows pc with windows 8.1, 4gB RAM and interl core i5. When I copy in 4k recorded videos from the gopro on the laptop and want to play the media player plays only the sound of the videos. In sony vegas it shows me the picture but it lies in the reproduction so strong that I hurt the eyes when watching. The sound is replaced by a loud beeping sound. My sd-card is formatted and works synonymous with the playback directly in the cam. How do I make it over that I can view the videos on the laptop and edit?
Your PC is far too weak to play 4k videos. I mean 4GB of RAM and i5 should already be clear indicators. Simply record in 1080p or get a better PC.
I'm trying now to play a video in 1080p
It's just a very old pc
Yes, you can tell by the components. But 1080p should go running smoothly on my old with similar values.
With this laptop, you probably will not enjoy editing 4k videos. He is far too slow for that. If you're lucky, you can handle just 2k video.
Playback should not be a problem with the VLC player.
Can your monitor display 4k video correctly?
You were right 1080p 60fps runs perfectly in every aspect ratio
There's no possibility that with another program in 4k to edit and then upload z.b on youtube?
As I said, the problem is the PC. Of course you can use programs like hit movie or shotcut etc. But they can't use more than the available resources. Could perhaps edit the video on a friend's computer, or buy yourself a stronger one.
