I have the above laptop here and I would really like to expand the RAM.
Currently has the standard 8GB in it.
Unfortunately I can't find anything I can find out:
1.) What is the clock rate of the current RAM (2400Mhz?) Or What is the maximum support for the mainboard.
2.) Whether the computer supports 1 or 2 RAM bars, so whether I can expand or replace.
Can anyone help me with that?
Unfortunately I can't find anything I can find out:
Shut down the laptop, flip it over and open the flaps. Under one of the many you will also find the ram bars that are in you and you can find out whether you can simply expand or buy a larger bar.
Since the device (if the name is correct) has 4GB soldered 4GB will be added.
It must match the soldered one.
As far as I know, the 55G variant has no upgrade shaft. Ergo it has to be completely disassembled. Please check the guarantee here beforehand. Otherwise it would be gone.
Lt. Data sheet it should be the following module:
DDR4 SoDIMM - PC4-19200 - 2400 MHz
Thanks, you can do something with it.
Ultimately, I would have to use the 4GB plugged in e.g. Replace with a suitable 8GB latch. Correct?
Yes. As written regarding the soldered RAM: It is important that the information in the data sheet fits. The type of RAM module is the current standard (what manufacturers install).
All right.
