Which gaming notebook should I buy (less than 800 euro)?

I need a new gaming notebook (less than 800 euro) but I really don't know which one to buy because there are so many products. Which is the best of them all? And should I buy a notebook from a brand (such as MSI or Acer) or configure it myself?

Th

Up to 800 euro there's no gaming notebook, only multimedia notebooks. Unless you have very few needs.

In general, a PC is always preferable for gaming, as cheaper with the same performance, upgradeable, better cooling, often more durable, etc.

Ja

Gaming and notebook are a contradiction in terms, it's like building lead-based aircraft…

Se

Nice comparison.

El

I totally agree with them!

Instead of buying a gaming laptop, you'd better get a gaming PC straight away.

The gaming PC is much more durable and can also be upgraded, which is often not the case with laptops.

Ja

Thanks ^^

My proposition…

Small gaming PC approx. 500 euro. + 50 euro good used 1080p monitor… As a basis a Ryzen with RX570 8GB VRAM. (Should be better than almost everything you get as a "gaming notebook".

Office notebook approx. 250-300 euro.

Se

Why should it? Check out videos of the latest models! Gaming laptops are expensive, but they are now as good as PC's

Se

Which small gaming PC could you recommend to me?

Ja

Yes, take a good look at them

N For me, laptops shouldn't have the property "must be connected to a socket every hour"

Co

Gaming? Take the one with the best graphics card and 16 GB of RAM, because at 800 EUR this will be the A&O for reasonably smooth gaming.

You can filter this relatively well at Geizhals or Notebooksbilliger.de.

Gr

800 euro for a notebook is a difficult choice

Microsoft service works, but gaming is uncomfortably experienced

Suggest you try to put together a PC?
A good AMD graphics card is bought for 300-400 euro

Not the bang in space but usable, maybe 15 euro more for a B459 motherboard.

470 euro + 15 euro for B450 motherboard.

Always put together yourself! I'm happy to answer any questions!

As a "community expert" I actually expected a good answer.

The dear question Steller is looking for a notebook, that will have its reasons.

He is looking for the best notebook for gaming for 800 euro.

Th

Obviously, many agree with my answer. Experience shows that many do not know that a notebook is not ideal for gaming, especially in the price range. And since the questioner does not specify exact requirements, I can't help and give a recommendation with a clear conscience. Especially since I also explained why.

Also, being a community expert doesn't make me a real expert or better person. Anyone can be. And if you know better, nobody prevents you from answering and helping the questioner.

Ca

First of all, I didn't want to come across unfriendly.

Basically, I also agree with you, a PC is definitely better than a notebook. However, it is obviously not an option for the questioner as he is looking for a notebook.

Th

The questioner seems to have answered the answer at @ WillEsWissen64, so a PC may be an option (as long as it is small?)

I always write this answer for such vague questions about a gaming notebook, since many are simply not aware that a PC is just better. If you say yes, you only want to play older games with it or you have to be mobile, then that's not an issue. Otherwise, I would like to point out that maybe you should rethink that.
