I have an Acer laptop and wanted to pair it with my Bluetooth headphones (from Jabra).
I added my headphones as a new Bluetooth device in the system settings. According to the laptop, the headphones are connected, but they are unlikely to be recognized as an audio device. If I turn on a song on my laptop, for example, it is played over the loudspeakers of the laptop as normal despite the fact that my headphones are connected to them.
The headphones work flawlessly with my cell phone and my iPad.
Since my bluetooth headphones didn't work with the laptop, I plugged my wired headphones into it. For example, a song was played through the headphones, but only through the left.
I have no other problems with the cable headphones either.
My first question is why is my laptop not recognizing my bluetooth headphones as an audio device?
And the second why, when I plug my wired headphones into the laptop, only the left headphone works.
I very much hope that someone can help me.
You should look under sound settings whether you are also on two-channel stereo. With mono there's only one side
