Why does a smartphone have problems with certain headphones?

I have had a headphone problem with my smartphone, a Huawei P10 Plus, for a long time. Two of my headphones are simply not recognized by the device, although they work without any problems with other devices (e.g. My laptop). It doesn't matter which brand or price range the headphones belong to. One of the unrecognized headphones are original Samsung in-ear headphones, the other quite cheap ones without a brand, but with really good sound quality when I use them with a laptop, for example.

However, the device easily recognizes other headphones. I therefore rule out a loose contact of the socket or the respective plug. Especially since these two headphones also worked in the past.

I would be interested to see if anyone has a solution to this problem. When plugged in, there's a normal, quiet crackle with all connected speakers - but they are not recognized. The headphone symbol in the status bar at the top of the screen has disappeared, and sound continues to be played through the smartphone speakers. And even much cheaper headphones work, but because of the sound quality they are not needed, which is why I would like to continue using my normal headphones… And I can't make friends with Bluetooth headphones either, which is why I would rather stay with the wired ones.

I already thank you for helpful answers

Just clean the socket very carefully. There may be dirt at the end of the plug, which means that the said headphones do not go all the way in and therefore do not make proper contact.

I tried that… Even though you wouldn't have seen anything in the jack now. I usually put a protective cap in there to prevent this from happening…

Unfortunately still the same problem.
