Dear users,
I suffer from a strong jerk on my PC for days (with every mouse click or action). My components from the MSI notebook are currently i.e. Not older than 2 years (after RELEASE).
RTX 2060/16 GB RAM / CPU: i7 8750H / 512GB SSD…
The Task Manager indicates no utilization of any hardware. Fast VIRENSCAN from ESET Online Scanner doesn't tell me anything either. S.M.A.R.T or HDD check says everything is fine.
What could be the problem?
I would boot a Linux Live system first and see if it stutters too.
If not, it is a driver or Windows problem.
Reinstalling windows sometimes works wonders
I'd see what your temperatures are
What do the temperatures look like?
If they are normal, I would reinstall Windows fresh and clean. DO NOT reset.
Does everything work, for example when playing? Is there any use if you change the energy saving mode to maximum performance?
Another reason could be an overheating problem, download Hwinfo and check the temperatures of the CPU, GPU…
No comments yet, switched from BEST BATTERY LIFE to BEST PERFORMANCE, no result. HWINFO tells me this:
HWINFO gives me an average of 66 degrees Celsius for CPU packages. I also switched on my turbo fan if it should be due to the temperature.
66 degrees Celsius on average
You can see the temps when you click on sensors.
That looks normal. Then I would reinstall Windows. This is easier than finding the problem.
