I got a new laptop an Asus Zenbook Flip 14 and it would have installed Endless OS as the operating system. My question now is can I get the key and software for Windows 10 pro online in Chrome and just install it even though Endless OS is still there. I have not found an uninstall button for this Endless OS.
There's also no uninstall button. You can backup all important data and format the hard drive during Windows 10 installation.
You can also install Windows in parallel to Endless OS if you wish.
Otherwise, as whgoffline wrote, just delete it during the Windows 10 installation process.
And how exactly do i install windows 10 pro, i wanted to buy the software and key online and then install it. Is it possible because I read something about dvd or usb boot installation, I hope I can bypass it.
No, you can't avoid it! Just make yourself a bootable Windows 10 stick https://www.microsoft.com/.../windows10 with the media creation tool
So should i use the tool to load the software onto the usb, and what afterwards?
Then you boot from the USB stick, format the hard drive and install Windows. But make a backup of all important data beforehand.
The laptop is brand new there's nothing on it and I did not understand a word what to do: / how to format hard drives
I restart the laptop with the usb stick plugged in and go to the boot system via f12, then I simply select windows or how
No you go to the bios and put your USB stick all the way up in the boot sequence. Save that and statest new. Now you should be in the Windows installer. There you will also be offered to format your hard drive.
Okay thank you and why format hard drives.
and what exactly do I download to the usb stick with the tool? '
another question tell me you are familiar with the laptop sales site "campuspoint" and shows whether it is trustworthy.
So I downloaded this too and also selected wondwos 10 in German, then I downloaded 5 GB but this iso file somehow didn't try to unzip it but it only has 0 bytes as if it were nothing, I should just do it pull on the usb
To delete everything (e.g. Old operating system)
No, campuspoint, don't tell me anything.
Did you choose the USB stick during installation? The tool should actually do everything by itself.
In Chrome I couldn't choose anything, just press 32.bit or 64.bit system and then it downloaded immediately
I don't think he even opens the tool
What installation I did not get yet I downloaded the program in Chrome is such an ISO file but I can't open it because it has 0bytes somehow
Maybe try https://itsfoss.com/bootable-windows-usb-linux/
Have now pulled on another Windows computer on USB and - boot the BIOS on the laptop on Windows: 3 Thank you very much
