Laptop doesn't recognize internal RAM?

The following

I got a used laptop and wanted to make it fresh (ASUS R556U).

Internally, 4 GB of RAM are installed + another slot with a 2GB DDR3-1600 bar from Apacher. I bought a new latch (Corsair VALUESLECT DDR3-1600). If I install this, the laptop also recognizes it, according to CPU-Z, but no longer the internal RAM. According to CPU-Z, only one slot of 2 is occupied (i.e. The bolt is recognized). Otherwise, with the old bolt, both slots are occupied.

Can it be because the new latch is operated with 1.5V and the old one with 1.35V?

What else could it be? Yes it is properly installed and tried it several times with installing and removing it

So if I understand that correctly, the 2 RAM bars have a total of 6gb, then it could be that the laptop can't process more than 4gb

It's just a bar that can be exchanged. I opened the service hatch and there's only a bolt. Without this, the laptop runs at 4GB. The bar has 2GB, it also says on it. Have now installed one with 4GB, which is recognized and used, but no longer the 4GB from the laptop itself. This is not available as a latch, but directly on the board.
