I'm looking for a new laptop and unfortunately I have no idea what the topic is, so I would like to know if anyone is familiar with this and could help me a little in this regard.
My budget would be around 500 euro. The only thing he should be able to do is that everything works with Word, PowerPoint etc., you can watch YouTube and Netflix well and that it generally runs smoothly, even after a long time, after all, you don't invest in a new laptop every day. In addition, it would be good if it were not too big, I always find these giants to be super annoying. I would also like to know if there are laptops within this budget that meet my criteria and that can be converted to tablets or that simply have a touchscreen. I really researched a wide range of laptops for a long time, but it didn't make me any smarter because the selection is very large. Should brands be avoided with laptops?
By the way: my old laptop was an Asus laptop, I thought it was okay, after a few years it slowed down, at some point you couldn't work with it anymore until it finally broke. At the moment I think the Acer Chromebook 514 and 314 are very appealing on the outside, but unfortunately I don't know whether they are also technically good.
We have had relatively "good" experiences with ACER and ASUS.
However, due to the relative "sensitivities" we do not use laptops as a tablet or the screen as a touchscreen.
So we're using "normal" laptops (no gaming or games are installed on them) that have a 512GB SSD installed.
The RAM is 8 MB, as a processor INTEL, but alternatively also Ryzen
such as. The Acer Aspire 5 (A515-54G-52HW) 15.6 "Full HD IPS, Intel i5-10210U, 8GB DDR4.
You will find a "configurator" https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...ity=sofort
What do you mean by "fluid" and "good"?
In general, I have had good experiences with Acer laptops. The opinions differ, but I would definitely recommend Acer's.
Otherwise, I have had good experiences with Lenovo. If you should choose this brand and want a fast computer, you should get one with 8 GB of RAM.
