I have purchased a brand new Asus Zen Book (UX3410U) and want to give my battery a long lifetime. If I now work at home for several hours on the laptop, should I best leave the power supply connected? Does this always recharge a little and again? What is recommended?
You can always leave the power adapter connected. That's OK. But you can take out the battery completely. These batteries last 4 years or longer. If you're always purely traveling, you can still pass the computer on to your grandchildren.
The battery is firmly installed… ZenBook.
You can always leave the power cord on. These things have a Überladeschutz. You can't go wrong.
If you leave the calculator statioinär on the power supply, the battery is only charged to about 80%, then the battery protection board disconnects the battery from the charging port, your power supply then only supplies the calculator. Overloading can't happen.
If you use the battery instead, then count the charging cycles that come together.
Very bad: take out the battery, then it is usually so long only in the cabinet until the battery sinks by self-discharge in the Tiefentladzng, and then may not even load, although you had never used.
